We’re very happy to receive submissions from churches in the Deanery for publication on this website or in the Deanery Magazine.
Please send any material for publication to news@eastbourne-stleonards.org.uk. This is also the address to use for any feedback, queries or suggestions.
We will treat anything sent as intended for both the website and the magazine, unless you tell us otherwise. We accept longer articles for the website; we may need to edit any article and possibly shorten it, particularly for the magazine where space is at a premium.
The subject matter must be relevant; editorial decisions are final.
You must own the copyright of your article (for example, by writing it all yourself), or send the permission of the person who owns the copyright. We need to know the name of the author, and any previous publisher if the article has appeared anywhere else.
High-resolution images are very welcome. Please do not embed images in any other document: simply attach them to your email. Generally, embedded images cannot be extracted easily for use, and Word in particular does horrible things to them. Pictures of an event work best if they are not posed, but of course, presentations or more formal photos can be used. You must ensure that every person who is featured in a photo is content that their face can be published. We need to know who took the photograph.
