Welcome to the temporary website of the new Parish of Eastbourne and St Leonards.

The Diocese will soon be providing a website closely integrated with its own. In the meantime, this simple site complements the new Parish Newsletters.

The season of Advent is one of expectation when the Church looks forward to the birth of our Lord and Saviour on Christmas Day. Do look in your local newsletter (see below) for events which mark the season and will heighten your celebration of Christmas when the time comes. Advent also marks the start of the Church’s year: during this year we will see our New Parish formally instituted. To get ready for that, you’ll start to see the name of the New Parish appearing here and in churches.

We ask for your continued prayers for wisdom, unity, and openness to the Holy Spirit as we move forward as one New Parish. We have been truly blessed by the renewed life in our Deanery, seen especially in the many new faithful who have joined or returned to us in recent months. We thank God for the quiet yet genuine revival taking place across our communities.
